Will ProStar store my contents?
Yes. We will track and store any salvageable items. And we can also restore those items that are salvageable. We will also make a list of items (including food items) deemed nonrestorable to provide to you and your insurance company.
How long will fire damage repairs take?
Repairs are different for every situation. When you’re in the emergency stage, it may take 3-7 days, and in the administration phase, it may take 2 to 16 weeks. Once these have been completed, your reconstruction provider will prepare an accurate time estimate for your repairs. These estimates can vary greatly depending on the extent of the damage.
Can you work at night and on weekends?
Unfortunately, evening and weekend work is not available after the emergency phase is complete due to the high cost. We will provide our professional help and services during weekdays and will need appropriate access to your property. Lockboxes are available to facilitate this process.

At ProStar, we are committed to helping bring your home back to life! All that we ask is that you address your home changes in writing on a ProStar change order form. Any additional costs associated with these changes are the responsibility of the homeowner.

Every fire damage event varies in severity. Fire and smoke are generally deemed as accidental, and typically will have insurance coverage. To be sure that you are covered by insurance, contact your insurance representative.

Our pricing is standardized and set by an independent, third-party firm called Xactimate, which sets prices followed by the insurance industry. Most of our competitors use the same price list, so there’s no need to worry about shopping around to get a fair price.
